Amanda J. Holton Ph.D. is a faculty lecturer at U.C. Irvine. She received her Ph.D. from UCI in Biophysical Chemistry and now teaches general chemistry and focuses research and scholarly efforts on active learning techniques, flipped classroom implementation and online learning.

For the physical book plus homework it is $233. For loose leaf physical book plus homework it is $152 and for the ebook plus homework it is $152.

Course meeting requirements: 
None
Prerequisites: 
Math 2A or Physics 7C or Chem 1P or placement via a score of 600 or higher on the SAT Mathematics Reasoning test, or a score of 27 or higher on the ACT Mathematics test, or a score of 700 or higher on the SAT Chemistry subject exam, or a score of 3 on the AP Chemistry exam, or a score of 3 on the APCalc BC Exam. Chem 1P with a grade of C- or better.
